Name:

"Oyarsa" for those who don't know, is the name of an archangel (or "god" with a little 'g') in C. S. Lewis's Space Trilogy. I liked the character, so I stole the name. Who am I? I am a library science student in Illinois who has a variety of interests--too many to list! I have worked in libraries for five years and counting.

Are you a good person?

Economists Have Their Own Search Engine

Resources for Economists on the Internet, at http://rfe.org/, is a categorized list of resources relevant to economists, with categories like Data, Forecasting & Consulting, and Software. Don't forget to use the Details link for each of the listings -- there's plenty more information available.

RFE now has a search engine as well, available at http://ese.rfe.org/. The ESE (Economics Search Engine) uses Nutch to index 300,000 pages from 10,000 economics sites around the Internet. Materials indexed include text, PDF, and Microsoft Word files.

Check it out.
